Beach chairs print silkscreen mixed media for home decor
Vintage Miami Beach Florida silkscreen beach chairs mixed media art print, embellished by hand. Previously available only through galleries, the remaining pieces from the edition of 190 prints, completed in 1982, have been archivally stored and are now being offered for sale on-line.
The image area is 20" x 30", using Nazdar 5500 series inks, printed on Mirage heavyweight archival printmaking paper with generous borders. The piece is pencil-signed and numbered. All the stencils were hand-cut by me, with no photographic process used, and destroyed after completion of printing the edition. This is a nine color silkscreen hand printed in seven flat colors. Following the screening, each print was individually airbrushed by me personally, using two acrylic colors to build up a fine “mist” across the whole image, resulting in very fine colored specks (see detail photo).
All of my original prints are hand-pulled by me. Because of this, each etching, aquatint, silkscreen, woodblock or lithograph I do varies slightly from print to print, in effect making each impression an original print, unlike a “reproduction”, where every print is exactly the same.
PLEASE NOTE: This print does NOT include framing or matting. The photo of the framed art is only to suggest a style of framing.

My preferred method of paying is PayPal. I also accept checks and money orders. However, paying by check will result in delaying the shipping of your art until your check clears.
Shipping and Handling:
$23.50 via USPS insured in the US, with signature confirmation. International shipping will be determined before the close of the sale. Note: because of the thickness of the paper I use to print on, and it’s size, this print will be shipped flat, not rolled. The print will be sandwiched between two pieces of double-thick cardboard, and further protected with archival paper. I have researched shipping options, and found the least expensive means available.
Returns:
If you are not satisfied with your art, simply email or call me to make return arrangements within 7 days. I'd be happy to refund you the purchase price of the art, minus the shipping and handling fees, provided the art is returned to me undamaged.
